As Dilandau stands ready to attack Mr. T's hapless vehicle (and the hapless Allen and Millerna as well), everyone else in the Escaflowne gang are just sitting down to dinner. Suddenly, as Hitomi is about to raise a glass of vinor to her lips (her third glass,-she's really been hitting it hard lately), she starts to have that UNfunny feeling again...

Van silences Merle and encourages Hitomi to relax and concentrate on what the vision is trying to reveal to her. Even if it IS, in all likelihood a firey, unholy portent of some impending disaster which they probably can't do anything about...

Van (the boy-king) rushes to the storage chamber where Escaflowne is being kept. He slides into the cockpit.

Van awakens Escaflowne and soon, the two of them are making tracks to the field where Allen and Millie are, as yet, still --er-- interacting with one another. Allen now tries to pull his patented "One Finger Bra Unhook" Maneuver, but the princess heads him off at the pass...

Allen starts to sweat... Dilandau finally uncloaks.
